Another Saturday in the studios.
Sorry for the lack of updates, I was really sick this past week. Initially I thought it was a cold but the fact that I'm now coughing up phlegm that is roughly the size and color of aliens makes me think otherwise. Is that too much information? That might be too much information...
A lot of stuff on the docket from this past week and this upcoming week. Talked to a guy that works at the Vault of Midnight (Ann Arbor's local comic shop) and we're working on getting my book on the local cartoonist shelf! Which is is super excited. Whenever I think about the physical book there's a tiny voice in my brain that goes "IF. IF you finish..." I hate that voice. I'm also meeting up with a friend of mine who has a head for math to help me figure out fundraising and kickstarter things later this week. The part of my brain that was capable of doing computations died off a long time ago. I'm also crashing one of my old comic professors classes on Tuesday. Oh! And I got paper samples from a printing company I'm looking into using.
Watercoloring is going very well, if a bit slower than I'd like. And I've been here in the studio pretty constantly, despite being sick. I want to get this done by the end of February but I don't know how realistic of a goal that is...I'm just happy I'm not sick anymore. It's easier to pull late nights and early mornings when your sinus cavities don't feel like they are in the ozone.
I'll post some pics of the pages later today, give the internet a taste of what it's going to look like. Sorry this post is so scrambled, there is a lot that has happened and that is currently going on that sort of got jumbled together in my head.
Back to work.
