I like having the weekends to work. Less of a rush to get something substantial done in a certain time period, and it's far easier to submerse yourself in an idea when you don't have to worry about getting to another class or work or sleep or human necessities.
But look! A futon and a blanket! Mum got me a delish fuzzy blanket to keep me warm, since my studio is over the frozen seventh circle of hell. And then my workplace got rid of a futon, so I have a nice comfy corner to work at! Mostly I'm just excited that it folds out into a bed, which means I can spend even MORE time at the art school!
This morning I've haven't worked on IP just yet, I'm a little behind in comics for work. Finally inked them, and I'll color them tonight, and now my hands are all cramped up and feel arthritic and painful as hell. I'm fairly worried that carpal tunnel is in my near future. Oh well, thumbnails next.
Here's a little watercolor of Pudge the fish. I still have been doing Inktober, just not time in which to edit and post them. 'Pologies.
